What do I receive for $59?
One CTO carbon block replacement cartridge. A sediment cartridge, housing and tap are not included. Quantity two means two carbon cartridges at the displayed per-cartridge price.
Will this fit any 10-inch filter housing?
Check your housing specifications, cartridge dimensions and end seals. This cartridge uses the 10-inch × 2.5-inch format, but that alone does not confirm every installation. Send us a photo and model details if you are unsure.
Do I pay the the separately quoted installation price installation fee?
Installation is optional and charged separately. Review the current installation option beside Add to cart, or ask Purest for a quote for your postcode and site. You can also buy the system without installation.
How often should I replace this cartridge?
The current product guidance recommends changing the carbon cartridge every 6 months, alongside the sediment cartridge where fitted. Water conditions and usage can require earlier replacement. Follow your system instructions.
Can I change it myself?
Follow the replacement instructions for your fitted housing. Isolate the water, safely release pressure, replace the cartridge and flush as instructed, then check for leaks. Ask our team for help if you are unsure or prefer a technician visit.
What does the 1-micron rating mean?
It describes the listed particle-filtration rating. It does not establish removal of dissolved contaminants. Carbon helps reduce chlorine taste and odour; ask for documented performance before choosing a filter for chloramine, PFAS or another specific contaminant.
Is this purchase a subscription?
The purchase shown here is a one-off cartridge order. Adding it to your cart does not enrol you in recurring payments.
Is this the same as the PC cartridge or the RO filter set?
No. This is a carbon cartridge for a compatible 10-inch × 2.5-inch housing. The all-in-one PC cartridge and Purest RO replacement set are separate products. Match the replacement specified for your installed system.
Does the three-year warranty cover replacement filters?
Replacement filters are excluded from Purest’s three-year system and installation warranty. If a supplied cartridge has a fault or you need help with a product issue, contact our team and refer to our returns policy.
