Sediment cartridge
The 1-micron sediment cartridge helps capture particles such as sand, silt and rust before the carbon stage.
Coconut-shell CTO carbon block
The carbon cartridge helps reduce chlorine taste and odour. It is a separate cartridge fitted in its own compatible housing.
Both stages in one order
Quantity one supplies one sediment cartridge and one carbon cartridge. Quantity two supplies two of each: four cartridges in total.

Confirm the system format
This set contains two separate housing cartridges. It is not the all-in-one PC cartridge or the Purest RO replacement set. Follow your system requirements for temperature, pressure and flow.

Current product guidance recommends replacing both cartridges every 6 months. Water conditions and usage may require earlier replacement; follow your system instructions.

What do I receive for $109?
One replacement set containing one sediment cartridge and one CTO carbon cartridge. Housings, bracket, tubing, tap and technician attendance are not included. Quantity two is two complete sets: two sediment cartridges and two carbon cartridges.
Will this fit my twin filter system?
It is for compatible systems using separate 10-inch × 2.5-inch sediment and carbon housings. Match both cartridges, their end seals and the housing specifications. Send your model details and a photo if you are unsure.
Do I pay the the separately quoted installation price installation fee?
Installation is optional and charged separately. Review the current installation option beside Add to cart, or ask Purest for a quote for your postcode and site. You can also buy the system without installation.
How often should I replace the set?
Current product guidance recommends changing both cartridges every 6 months. Usage and water conditions may require earlier changes. One set covers one scheduled filter change; follow your system instructions.
Can I change both cartridges myself?
Follow the instructions for your fitted housings. Isolate the water, safely release pressure and place each replacement in the correct filter stage. Flush as instructed and check for leaks. Ask our team if you need help or prefer a technician visit.
What do the two cartridges help reduce?
The sediment stage helps capture particles such as sand, silt and rust. The carbon stage helps reduce chlorine taste and odour. A particle rating does not establish removal of dissolved contaminants; ask for documented performance for chloramine, PFAS or any other specific concern.
Is this purchase a subscription?
This purchase is a one-off replacement set. Adding it to your cart does not enrol you in recurring payments.
Is this the same as the PC cartridge or the RO filter set?
No. The PC filter combines stages in one cartridge with a different connection. The Purest RO replacement set is also a separate product. Choose the cartridges specified for your installed system.
Does the three-year warranty cover replacement filters?
Replacement filters are excluded from Purest’s three-year system and installation warranty. If a supplied cartridge has a fault or you need help with a product issue, contact our team and refer to our returns policy.
