What do I receive for $100?
One PC cartridge combining sediment and carbon filtration. The tap, connection fittings and complete filtration system are not included. Quantity two means two cartridges at the displayed per-cartridge price.
Will this fit my Purest Filtered Tap System?
It is the replacement for compatible Purest Filtered Tap Systems using this PC cartridge. Check your current cartridge label and connection. If your system uses two separate cartridges, an RO unit or a different filter, ask us to identify the correct replacement.
Do I pay the the separately quoted installation price installation fee?
Installation is optional and charged separately. Review the current installation option beside Add to cart, or ask Purest for a quote for your postcode and site. You can also buy the system without installation.
How often should I replace this cartridge?
The current product guidance recommends a 12-month replacement interval. Water conditions and usage may require earlier replacement. Follow the instructions for your system and ask us if you need help choosing an appropriate interval.
Can I change it myself?
You can replace the cartridge yourself if you are comfortable following the instructions for your fitted system. Isolate the water, follow the replacement and flushing instructions, and check for leaks. Contact our team if you are unsure or would prefer a technician visit.
What does the filter help reduce?
It combines particulate and carbon filtration to help reduce sediment such as sand, dirt and rust, and residual chlorine taste and odour. Ask for documented performance for any specific contaminant you are concerned about.
Is this purchase a subscription?
The purchase shown here is a one-off cartridge order. Adding it to your cart does not enrol you in recurring payments.
Can I use this on hot water or with an RO system?
This cartridge is for the cold-water connection of a compatible system. It is not the Purest RO replacement set. Match the cartridge specified for your installed system before purchasing.
Does the three-year warranty cover replacement filters?
Replacement filters are excluded from Purest’s three-year system and installation warranty. If a supplied cartridge has a fault or you need help with a product issue, contact our team and refer to our returns policy.
