The amount payable depends on the product, the route used to order and the work required at the site. Check the current installation option or written quote. An older article's standard fee does not override an offer that explicitly includes installation.

Separate the equipment price, installation, optional ongoing care and any extra work. Review the final order before paying so that an included installation service is not added twice.

Provide the information that changes the job

Send the postcode, equipment model, photos of the existing tap and under-sink area, and details of access. A 3-way mixer and pull-out mixer both need compatibility checks; a similar appearance is not proof of identical installation requirements.

For a chiller or RO system, confirm the cabinet, power, ventilation or drain requirements relevant to the exact model. Additional connections or access work should be quoted, not assumed to be covered.

Plumbed equipment and refillable equipment differ

A cooler or bubbler with a mains connection needs its installation requirements assessed. A refillable cooler does not require mains plumbing, although its setup, power, location and care instructions still need to be followed.

Multiple units, rentals and appointments

For a larger workplace, request a site-specific quote with the quantity and locations. Do not assume a fixed bulk discount or multiply a single-unit offer without checking the scope.

For commercial rental, confirm whether installation is included or separate in the actual agreement. For short-term hire, include delivery, setup and collection in the quote.
